Marketing analyst - student job

We are looking for a student to help us with market research tasks in Oslavany.

As a working student, you will research and write reports helping us identify new product/market opportunities. Moreover, you can gain deep insights into creating market overviews, competitor analysis, segmentation, and feature comparisons.

Previous experience in market research is not required, but you'll need good user-level IT proficiency and interest in marketing. You will work on-site or remotely as your schedule permits, with weekly or bi-weekly synchronization meetings in Oslavany.

What you'll be doing

Your primary responsibilities will be to:

• Collect and analyze qualitative data about software-as-a-service markets.
• Prepare detailed reports on consumer behavior, competitors' activities, and outcomes.
• Monitor customer bases, customer segments, and distribution channels, and identify new ones.
• Prepare supporting information for internal product design decisions.
• Use data sources and tools to identify, interpret, and communicate user behavior.
• Amend documents after feedback. Iteratively improve existing reports.

About you

You should have the following skills and experience:

• Proficiency with computer programs such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, and image editing software.
• Strong analytical skills. Ability to analyze marketing data, customer behavior, user-level software topics, competition, and products.
• Attention to detail.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work a couple of hours weekly (outside the exam period).
